What it does

What the domain analyzer measures

Authority footprint

Domain Rank on a 0 to 100 scale and unique referring domains, each set against the organic competitor median.

Overview

Domain Analyzer, in depth.

Before you pitch, plan or trade links, you need to know what a site is really worth in search. Vee3.ai's domain analyzer, Domain Overview, reads any public domain or page URL and returns its Domain Rank, referring domains, estimated organic traffic and ranking keywords, each placed against the median of the sites it competes with. Up to five years of history shows the trajectory behind today's number, and the top 1,000 keywords and every ranked page show where the traffic actually comes from.

What the domain analyzer reports

Type a domain into the header search, or open Domain overview and pick a market: United States, United Kingdom, Canada or Australia. The report opens with two pairs of numbers. The authority footprint is Domain Rank, a 0 to 100 link-authority score, and referring domains, the unique sites linking to the target. Organic reach is estimated monthly organic visits, organic keywords and pages ranked. Every one of them sits on a scale beside the organic competitor median, with the mean, range and sample size underneath, so a number arrives with its context.

A domain authority checker with a reference point

A Domain Rank of 40 is strong in one market and weak in another. Vee3.ai reviews up to 30 candidate competitors, keeps up to 10 that share real searches with the target and are of similar scale, and benchmarks against them only when at least three have data. That turns a domain rank checker into a verdict: above, at or below the sites you actually compete with. To keep watching those rivals over time, use the SEO competitor analysis tool.

Domain traffic analyzer with five years of history

One shared range control drives two dual charts: Domain Rank with referring domains, and organic traffic with organic keywords. Choose 1, 3 or 6 months, or 1, 2 or 5 years, then read the absolute and percentage change for each metric. You can see whether traffic fell with keywords or on its own, and whether authority moved first. Months without measurements stay empty rather than being filled with guesses.

Domain keyword analyzer: the keywords and pages behind the traffic

The top 1,000 organic keywords arrive ordered by estimated traffic, each with position, change from the previous position, volume, traffic, traffic value, keyword difficulty, intent and the ranking page. Ranked pages load 1,000 at a time with their top keyword, page type, dominant intent, keyword count, traffic and average position. A page types across intents table shows which formats earn which searches, so you can see whether a site's guides or its product pages carry the commercial demand. Check any keyword's results page with the keyword analyzer.

Analyze one page, not just the domain

Paste a full page URL and the report switches to Exact URL: the authority of that page and the keywords it ranks for. History, ranked pages and organic competitors are domain-level sections, so they appear when you analyze the root domain.

Compare up to 50 domains in one batch

Switch to batch mode and paste up to 50 root domains separated by line breaks, tabs or commas. Duplicates are skipped and every entry is validated before the run starts. The comparison table lines up Domain Rank, referring domains, organic traffic, organic keywords, ranked pages, qualified peers and partial warnings; Export comparison saves it, Retry failed reruns only what failed, and clicking a row opens its full report. Enrich AI visibility adds ChatGPT and Google AI Overview citations and the top cited domains for each row, the same evidence the AI visibility tool is built on.

From domain analysis to a plan

Every report has Build a Roadmap, which starts a new brand for that site so its keywords can become planned pages on your SEO roadmap. Reports are saved to your workspace and reused for seven days, so reopening a domain you analyzed this week costs nothing extra and shows the same numbers your team saw.

Domain Analyzer questions

What does a domain analyzer do?

It shows how a website performs in organic search: its link authority, estimated traffic, the keywords it ranks for and the pages that earn that traffic. Vee3.ai adds up to five years of history, benchmarks against the site's real organic peers, and a Build a Roadmap step when you want to act on what you found.

How do I check a domain's authority?

Type the domain into the header search and read Domain Rank, a 0 to 100 link-authority score, and referring domains. Both sit beside the organic competitor median, with the mean, range and sample size, so you can tell whether the score is high for that market or just high in general.

Can I analyze a single page instead of a whole domain?

Yes. Paste a full page URL and the report runs as Exact URL, with that page's authority and the keywords it ranks for. History, ranked pages and organic competitors are domain-level sections and appear when you analyze the root domain.

How many domains can I analyze at once?

Batch mode takes up to 50 root domains separated by line breaks, tabs or commas. Duplicates are skipped, every entry is checked before the run starts, and you can cancel, retry failed rows or export the whole comparison.

Does analyzing the same domain again use more credits?

A new report uses credits from your workspace. For seven days after that, the saved report for the same target and market opens again without spending credits, so a colleague reopening it sees the same numbers.

Does it check domain name availability or WHOIS details?

No. The domain analyzer measures how a live site performs in organic search. It does not check whether a name is free to register, who owns it, or when it was registered.

How accurate are the traffic numbers?

Organic traffic is an estimate of monthly visits from search, calculated by Vee3.ai's SEO data providers from rankings and search volume, not read from the site's analytics. When a section is temporarily unavailable, the report marks it as partially available instead of showing zeros.
